PARAMUS, N.J – Recognized as an annual celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society in the U.S. since 1987, Bergen Community College will sponsor a series of events to coincide with the nation’s observance of Women’s History Month in March.
According to http://paramuspost.com under the theme of “women who advocate for equity, diversity and inclusion,” the month’s signature event will feature a panel discussion with New Jersey State Senator Holly Schepisi, Esq. (R-39) and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center CEO Deborah Visconi after a showing of “Crone: The Wise Woman Hypothesis,” on Tuesday, March 19 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. in room S-138 at the College’s main campus (400 Paramus Road, Paramus). The film offers evolutionary evidence that women have leadership advantages that could benefit societal systems if correctly leveraged. Members of the film’s production team will also attend the March 19 screening and serve on the panel.
