
For the first time, the Bergen County chapter of the NAACP will host a community celebration of Juneteenth.
According to northjersery, “Chapter President Junius “Jeff” Carter called Saturday’s event an “adventure.”
“We are trying to make it a community event so that people come out,” Carter said. “We had thought about having food and things like that, but decided to make it a full family day and not charge for anything.”
